How to purchase UNIDO database

Order Form

UNIDO Statistical Databases can be purchased by filling in an online order form. As soon as order is confirmed an invoice with payment instructions is e-mailed to the customer and online access to the requested database is authorized or the CD ROM is delivered. The price list and terms of reference are provided below.

Initial purchase price rate applies to — first-time purchase of one of the statistical databases and the purchase of databases three or more years after the initial purchase.

Update price rate applies to – purchase of a database update within three years from the time of initial purchase. Users who have not purchased any update for more than three years will be charged according to the initial purchase price rate.

Subscription enables regular users of UNIDO statistical databases to purchase at a significantly reduced price rate. Subscribers will receive an updated version of the requested database automatically upon release on annual basis for as long as they remain subscribed to a certain database.
Subscription can be canceled via e-mail notification prior to release of the new version of statistical databases in May next year.

Internal use allows the customers to update their own databases, carry out economic and statistical analysis and publish the results in any form, such as working papers, monographs, articles and books by quoting UNIDO as a data source.
Customers are not allowed to transfer the raw data to a third party if it was purchased for the purpose of internal use!

Secondary dissemination allows the customer to transfer the database partly or fully to third parties or to its affiliates without further transformation or consolidation. Secondary dissemination rate applies especially to larger academic and commercial institutions with a number of affiliates in many parts of the country and/or abroad. It allows the customer to install the database in several locations or provide online access for its affiliates to the main database.
Universities, research institutes, government agencies and other non-profit institutions are not allowed to transfer the data to commercial firms even if they have purchased the databases for secondary dissemination!
