The regional workshop addressed conceptual and technically complex aspects of international recommendations and standards, and demonstrated the link between industrial statistics variables not only with systems of national accounts, but also with accounting systems of enterprises. The workshop covered the theoretical foundations of index calculations that have practical applications, as well as technical challenges, such as the calculation of indices for outsourcing, for products with long production cycles, seasonality, etc.

The seminar targeted developers of national statistical methodologies and the participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, gained unique knowledge from international and UNIDO experts as well as from the country reports presented during the seminar.

The seminar was conducted in English and Russian.
