Capacity and Training Workshop for CDM Projects in South Africa

22 – 24 August 2007, Pretoria

This Workshop aimed at reducing barriers to CDM project development in South Africa.

Offshore and local experts provided information and knowledge in the areas of:

• CDM project development,
• Best practices in the preparation of the project design document (PDD), and
• Methodological issues for selected project types and categories.

Interactive discussion and participation using concrete examples of projects in South Africa formed a very imporant part of this workshop.
